DAY ONE

Rome – Archeo & Unique Mount Vesuvius Wine Tasting & Lunch – Pompeii - Sorrento

• 10:00am / 10:30am: Transfer from Rome FCO to Sorrento with private vehicle and personal host/guide from our ItaliaSpeciale.com team!
• Our very first destination will be a winery in the shade of the majestic Mount Vesuvius volcano, a true spectacle that meets the eye!
• Our wine tour will be a guided introduction to the fascinating world of red and white wines from the Campania region and their special bouquet resulting from their unique volcanic terroirs
• Lunch will be over our wine-tasting as we sip excellent local Falanghina, Aglianico and especially the celebrated Mount Vesuvius Lacryma Christi (Tears of Christ)…quite the delight!
• After lunch we reach the famous archaeological site of Pompeii for an entertaining and insightful guided visit with your host
• Transfer to Sorrento and check-in
• Evening at leisure to relax, enjoy a Neapolitan pizza, the strolling & shops in Sorrento
• Good night’s rest

DAY TWO

Amalfi Coast – Praiano – Positano – Breathtaking Path of the Gods

• After breakfast, visit to the Amalfi Coast: Amalfi, its famous Limoncello, Praiano, Positano, etc with your private guide: what a drive!
• Another stop will be the beautiful town of Ravello with a visit to a famous Villa and enjoy splendid views over the Gulf of Sorrento
• Visit to a Limoncello maker to see how they make this famous Neapolitan liquer from the legendary Amalfi lemons
• Special lunch in the area
• On the way back, a special taste of the Path of the Gods, the ancient Amalfi Road that will offer on of the most striking panoramas on Earth!...camera is a must!
• Return to Sorrento and evening at leisure

DAY THREE

Capri & Anacapri & Grottos – Blue Grotto - Special Cookery & Foodie

• After a nice Italian breakfast, this morning we will take a trip to the island of Capri & Anacapri with your personal host Andrea
• Visit of the beautiful “Grottos” of Capri with exclusive private boat
• Our experience will include the stunning Blue Grotto
• Visti of Caprì and chance for some shopping at its fashion shops, craft-made sandals by a local artisan, etc…
• Return to mainland for a very special  late afternoon Cookery & Foodie experience nearby
• It will be sleeves up to disclose the secrets of local recipes and Spaghetti Nerano Style with our great hosts
• Dinner with our delicious preparations and return to Sorrento

DAY FOUR

Naples Mystery Underground & Authentic

• After breakfast, we will reach Naples for an amazing discovery of its authentic essence
• Our host will take us to explore the beauty of Naples in its colourful and cheerful Neapolitan quarters as well as its maze of cobbled streets and alleyways
• Discoveries today will also include Naples’ Elegant and Royal Sites
• Lunch in one of Naples most authentic quarters….it’ll be a loud experience!
• After lunch, an exclusive Italia Speciale experience as we visit Marinella’s, the world’s most famous tie-maker of Naples that has just turned 100 years old!
• Afternoon for our Naples Mystery Underground Experience with a visit to the underground city and access to its secrets!
• Leisurely evening and Hotel in Naples

DAY FIVE

Naples - Campi Flegrei - Rome

• After breakfast, chance for a leisurely stroll through Naples before checking out and saying goodbye
• This morning will feature a visit to Naples’  Phlegrean Fields, an area rich in culture and natural beauty where history and classic epic literature merge
• Andrea will guide you through the site as you admire the lovely hillside vistas, the first barrel vaults ever built and, the extraordinary Flavian Amphitheatre with its underground maze, one of the largest freshwater cisterns ever built by the ancient Romans and the entrance to the Greek mythological Under World
• Lunch will be local and typical based on ancient Roman cookery traditions
• Afternoon transfer to Rome…Arrivederci Napoli, Sorrento & Amalfi!
