DAY ONE
Welcome to Cinque Terre!
- 11:00 Arrival in Florence (or Rome)
- Private transfer Florence Airport - La Spezia Train Station
- Train to Vernazza (every 20 minutes - duration 20 minutes) with arrival in Vernazza
- Short stroll to you accommodation in the heart of Vernazza
- Once you have checked in, dinner nearby in walking distance from Hotel
- Return to accommodation for a good night’s rest
DAY TWO
Hiking Days & Discovery
- This morning, a splendid Hiking day ahead planned by Guests
- Freedom of choice to pick any trail and/or train to set your starting point
- Day activities managed entirely on your own with local boat rides
- Evening at leisure and dinner arranged by Guests (recommendations will follow with possible booking)
DAY THREE
Hiking Days & Discovery & Culinary Experience
- This morning, a day of Hiking / trekking (recommendations on trails below)
- 17:30: Reach your Home Chef nearby for a traditional Ligurian Cooking Class that will feature a classic pesto & mortar preparation combined with a little wine tasting of 3 local labels and an olive oil tasting with 3 varieties of local extra virgin olive oil, all beautifully paired with local cheeses and focaccia
- Return to accommodation for a good night’s rest
DAY FOUR
Lake Como & Parmigiano Reggiano
- After a leisurely breakfast and checking out, train to La Spezia to meet your Private Transfer to reach the Palace Hotel Lake Como
- As we leave Liguria and head towards Lombardia, our drive will take us into the Emilia-Romagna region
- Experiences will include an en-route visit to a Parmigiano Reggiano producer for a tasting and for a lunch* locally along with original Modena Balsamic Vinegar
- Arrival and check in at Palace Hotel Lake Como
- Evening at leisure and dinner arranged by Guests (recommendations will follow with possible booking)
*Lunch: a la carte and paid by Guests (not included)
DAY FIVE
Bellagio & Como – Brunate Funicular
- After a leisurely breakfast, a ferry experience on Lake Como to reach the lovely village of Bellagio
- Enjoy a lovely full day in the Bellagio exploring its picturesque beauty, the stunning views and its iconic buzz and elegance
- Lunch in a local restaurant (recommendations will follow)
- Afternoon Ferry back to Palace Hotel in Como
- Late afternoon may feature a cable car ride from Como to Brunate for an evening at leisure and dinner arranged by Guests in the vibe of Brunate overlooking Lake Como
- Return to the Palace Hotel Como by funicular for a good night’s rest
DAY SIX
Day At Leisure
- Day at leisure arranged by Guests.
DAY SEVEN
Lecco & Hiking
- After a leisurely breakfast, a full day outing to reach Lecco on Lake Como’s South-Eastern end and by far the most famous and coveted branch of Lake Como known to Italians and in Italian Literature
- The neoclassical elegance of Lecco combined with its medieval fortifications and fascinating history will capture your attention
- Chance for one last hike in Lecco’s unique natural setting around Lake Como and at the foot of the beautiful Orobie Pre-Alps along the area’s large paths
- Trekking Suggestion: once you have arrived in Lecco by train, a stroll through the centre can lead to the Azzone Visconti Bridge form where you can pick up Trail 304 which will lead you to the Barro Mountain and to the lovely Sanctuary of San Michele which dominates the scenery overlooking the Lecco Lake, as well as Garlate Lake and Olginate Lake surrounded by mountains
- Further trail suggestions will follow
- Train back to Palace Hotel Lake Como in the late afternoon
- Evening at leisure and dinner arranged by Guests (recommendations will follow with possible booking)
DAY EIGHT
Transfer to Milan Aiport
- 10:00: After a leisurely breakfast, Private Transfer to Milan Linate Airport with ETA 11:30
